  Year 10 Food students were recently given an opportunity to combine their culinary and creative skills in an end of term ‘Bake Off’ competition.

  Despite some decidedly dodgy weather earlier in the week, the school’s annual Sports Day took place last Thursday, 18th July, against the backdrop of blue skies, sunshine and summer warmth.

  Year 9 and 10 Geographers were this week given an opportunity to learn about hydrogen fuel cells and their use in clean green energy thanks to a workshop delivered by UKSTEM.

• Students face their fears at outdoor activity centre
  Around fifty students from Withernsea High School recently enjoyed a two-night residential break at a popular outdoor activity centre as part of an opportunity aimed at developing key life skills.

  Over 150 Year 5 pupils from schools in Patrington, Keyingham, Roos, Easington and Withernsea recently took part in a ‘Primary Sports Festival’ at Withernsea High School.

  Year 11 students at Withernsea High School celebrated the end of their high school years in style as they dressed to impress for the annual leavers’ Prom.

  Budding young engineers at Withernsea High School have been given an opportunity to explore careers in construction with a first-hand look at the site of a multimillion-pound development near Hull.
