Year 6 Transition
Update: June 2025
09/06/25: Miss Wiseman has begun visiting some primary schools for the second time.
The purpose of these visits is to learn more about Year 6 as individuals. All pupils are being given an ‘About Me’ form where they are encouraged to share their favourite things: from books, TV shows and films, to their hobbies and interests outside of school. We are always keen to nurture and celebrate pupils’ often-hidden talents and achievements, as well as discover what their favourite lessons are and what they aspire to achieve in the future. Getting to know our new students is an essential part of welcoming them to the Withernsea High School community and we look forward to learning more about Year 6 as they become our brand-new Year 7.
These visits also provide an opportunity for Miss Wiseman to answer and respond to questions or concerns that were posed during her first visit. As you may remember, pupils were asked to write anything down that they wanted to ask about high school life and we were delighted at the mature and well thought out questions that were submitted.

Whether you're familiar with the school or not, we hope you enjoy the following video which highlights some of the many things we do here at Withernsea High School.
