A reminder that an additional ten minutes have been added per day – moving our current finish time from 3.00pm to 3.10pm. Buses will subsequently depart at 3.20pm. The official start to the school day will remain the same at 8.40am
Equipment
Students must attend school every day with the following equipment: Student handbook (provided by the school) and a pencil case containing at least a pen, pencil, ruler, highlighter and eraser. These should be carried in a suitable bag.
Uniform
A reminder that minor adjustments to our uniform policy take effect from September:
- Students may wear either a long-sleeved OR a short-sleeved PLAIN white shirt with a collar. These must be tucked in at all times. Polo shirts and other tops are not acceptable.
- False nails and most items of jewellery (with the exception of stud earrings) are not permitted.
In addition, our PE and Dance uniform has been simplified to the following:
- Navy blue sports shirt with school logo
- Navy blue shorts with school logo or PLAIN navy blue tracksuit trousers or PLAIN navy blue leggings. Please note: items without logos need not be bought from the official uniform supplier.
- Appropriate footwear for the activity (i.e. boots for outdoors and clean trainers for indoor events)
- Shin pads should be worn for football, hockey and rugby.
Additional clothing available for PE, but not compulsory, includes a navy blue drill top with school logo (long-sleeved) and navy blue fleece with school logo. As PE lessons will be outside all year round, we strongly recommend the purchase of one of these items.
Please refer to the parent/carer letter from Mr Crofts, released on Tuesday 27th August on EduLink and on the Letters to Parents page on the school website, for further information.
